One of the most common assumptions in telecoms is that speed is the answer to everything.
If things are slow, upgrade.
If systems lag, upgrade.
If calls drop, upgrade.
But in reality, speed is often not the issue.
More often than not, the root cause lies elsewhere. Poor WiFi coverage, outdated routers, badly configured networks, or simply too many devices competing for bandwidth can all create the illusion of a slow connection.
I’ve seen businesses double their speed and notice very little difference.
Why? Because the problem was never the line coming into the building — it was what was happening inside it.
Before committing to an upgrade, it’s always worth stepping back and asking a simple question:
Is the current setup actually working as it should?
A proper review can often highlight straightforward fixes that deliver immediate improvements — without the need for higher monthly costs.
Speed has its place, but it’s only part of the picture. Stability, setup, and support are what really make the difference.
